At In Focus Church, we believe in living out radical generosity—and we do that together in two distinct moments every year: the Big Give in the fall and the Reach Offering in the spring.
Both are about giving above and beyond. But each offering has a unique focus.
Big Give is about strengthening our house—onboarding new givers, encouraging year-round giving, and investing in the ongoing health of our church.
Together, these two offerings help us fully live out our mission to Love God, Love People, and Reach the World—not just in word, but in action.
This past Sunday, we shared the heart behind our upcoming Reach Offering, happening on Sunday, May 17th. I wanted to take a moment to follow up and explain more about what this offering is—and why it matters.
At In Focus, we have historically taken up two special offerings each year. In the fall, our Big Give focuses on onboarding new givers, inspiring sacrificial generosity, and strengthening our church’s finances so we can continue the mission God’s given us.
But in the spring, we’re turning our eyes outward. That’s why we’re rebranding this second special offering as the Reach Offering—rooted in our mission to Love God, Love People, Reach the World.
This offering is designed to better position us to bless others beyond our walls. It will go toward:
- Supporting global and local ministries
- Investing in church planting and campus ministry
- Meeting tangible needs through benevolence
- Partnering with organizations that align with our mission—both locally and internationally
We’re inviting you to prayerfully consider how you can participate in this act of radical generosity. Whether it’s a small step of faith or a significant sacrifice, every gift matters—and together, we can make a real impact in our city and around the world.
These offerings also help us to seek God, listen for His guidance, and obey while giving as He directs. God has called us to be a church that reaches the world with His love---tangibly in what we do, and also what we give.
